چکیده

This review considers the risk factors for arterial hypertension (AH) progression, obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) as potential variables prognostic models of estimating probability destabilization mentioned conditions. The most published studies consider AH OSAS influencing course COVID-19, while moderate mild COVID-19 can be destabilizing factor regarding to OSAS. In addition, are interrelated with quality. worsening quality often both a consequence these diseases aggravating their course, also cause increased vulnerability acute diseases. An body mass index is universal many clinical conditions, monitoring increases degree control associated obesity. any above-mentioned conditions course. Also, promising direction improving analysis autonomic dysfunction in patients.

Obstructive sleep apnea and the severity of coronary artery disease

Background: It has been implicated that obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is associated with increased risk of cardiovascular disease including stroke, myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease (CAD) and hypertension. The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation between OSA and severity of atherosclerosis assessed by angiography. Methods: This study included 337 patients ...

Effects of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome on serum aminotransferase levels and insulin resistance

Abstract Bckground: Patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) are at risk of developing the fatty liver as a result of being overweight. Several studies suggest that OSA per se could be a risk factor for liver injury and ischemic hepatitis with OSA. The OSA is an independent risk factor for Insulin resistance. Therefore, we investigated liver enzymes and insulin resistance in patients with O...

Obstructive sleep apnea, masked hypertension, and arterial stiffness in men.

BACKGROUND Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is an established cause of hypertension. However, it is not clear whether the frequency of masked hypertension in patients with OSA and whether OSA have an independent role on arterial stiffness taking into account ambulatory blood pressure (BP) monitoring (ABPM). METHODS We evaluated 61 male normotensive participants as determined by casual clinic BP ...

Hypertension and obstructive sleep apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is increasingly being recognized as a major health burden with strong focus on the associated cardiovascular risk. Studies from the last two decades have provided strong evidence for a causal role of OSA in the development of systemic hypertension. The acute physiological changes that occur during apnea promote nocturnal hypertension and may lead to the development...

Obstructive sleep apnea and hypertension.

There has long been a recognized link between obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and the cardiovascular system, no aspect of which has been more studied than blood pressure. Research in OSA has not only demonstrated dysregulation of homeostatic cardiovascular mechanisms but also has furthered our understanding of blood pressure regulatory control. Acute nocturnal blood pressure elevations associated...
